Last updated: November 3, 2025
1. Introduction
ScreenerBot ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our automated Solana DeFi trading bot service.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Email address (optional, for support inquiries)
- Configuration settings stored locally on your device
2.2 Automatically Collected Information
- IP address and browser information (website only)
- Usage data and analytics (website only)
2.3 What We Do NOT Collect
- Private keys or seed phrases (stored only on your device)
- Trading data (processed locally, never sent to our servers)
- Wallet balances or transaction history (fetched directly from blockchain)
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our website and documentation
- To respond to support inquiries
- To improve our service and user experience
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Blockchain Data
ScreenerBot operates locally on your computer and interacts directly with the Solana blockchain. Please note:
- All blockchain transactions are public and permanently recorded on the Solana blockchain
- Trading activities executed by the bot are visible on-chain
- Swap fees (0.5%) are collected via Jupiter referral program on-chain
- We do not have access to your private keys or control over your transactions
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. Your wallet private keys are NEVER collected or stored by our service.
6. Data Retention
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account data at any time.
7. Third-Party Services
We may use third-party services for:
- Website analytics and monitoring
- RPC nodes for blockchain interaction (configured by you)
- Jupiter aggregator for swap routing (includes 0.5% referral fee)
- Market data APIs (DexScreener, GeckoTerminal, RugCheck)
8. ScreenerBot Desktop Application
8.1 Server Connections
The ScreenerBot desktop application makes only TWO connections to our servers:
- Version Check: A simple GET request to check for software updates (no personal data is transmitted)
- Billboard Tokens: A GET request to fetch featured tokens for display (no personal data is transmitted)
All other connections are to third-party services you configure or public APIs:
- Your configured RPC endpoint(s) for Solana blockchain data
- DexScreener, GeckoTerminal for market data
- RugCheck for security analysis
- Jupiter/routers for swap quotes and transaction building
8.2 Events System
ScreenerBot includes an optional events recording system for debugging purposes:
- Disabled by default - You must explicitly enable it
- Records system events locally (token discoveries, swap attempts, errors)
- Never records private keys, passwords, or seed phrases
- Data is stored only on your computer and never transmitted to us
- When enabled, can record millions of events per hour during active trading
- With events debugging enabled, storage can grow to 20 GB due to high-frequency logging—use only when troubleshooting
- You may optionally share event logs with support for troubleshooting (we recommend reviewing before sharing)
8.3 Third-Party Image Sources
Token and NFT images displayed in ScreenerBot are fetched from external sources:
- DexScreener CDN (cdn.dexscreener.com)
- IPFS gateways (ipfs.io and others)
- Arweave network (arweave.net)
- Individual token project servers and CDNs
We have no control over these image sources. Token projects host their own images on their own infrastructure. If images fail to load, the source server may be offline or blocked by your firewall. This does not affect trading functionality.
9. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to processing of your data
- Export your data
10. Children's Privacy
Our service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
