Trading Strategies

Create and manage automated trading strategies with custom conditions, technical indicators, and rule-based execution logic.

Overview

Trading strategies allow you to define rule-based entry and exit conditions. The system evaluates these conditions continuously and executes trades when criteria are met, enabling sophisticated automated trading without manual intervention.

Rule-Based:

Define exact conditions for entries and exits

Continuous Evaluation:

Evaluated regularly for eligible tokens while the trader is running

Performance Tracking:

Monitor win rate and P&L per strategy

Strategy Types

Entry Strategies

Define conditions for opening new positions

  • Price-based triggers: Breakouts, support/resistance levels
  • Volume conditions: Surge detection, sustained high volume
  • Indicator signals: RSI, MACD, moving average crossovers
  • Multi-condition logic: Combine multiple criteria with AND/OR

Exit Strategies

Define conditions for closing positions

  • Take profit targets: Fixed price or percentage gains
  • Stop loss levels: Fixed price or trailing stop losses
  • Time-based exits: Maximum hold duration limits
  • Indicator reversals: Momentum shifts, overbought signals

Creating Strategies

Strategy Creation Workflow

1

Choose Strategy Type

Select entry or exit strategy based on your goal

2

Define Conditions

Add one or more conditions with logical operators (AND/OR). Example: "Price above $0.01 AND RSI below 30"

3

Set Parameters

Configure priority (high/medium/low), execution amount, and optional notes

4

Activate strategy for automated trading execution

Condition Types

Price Conditions

  • • Above/below specific price
  • • Percentage change over time
  • • Price crossing moving average
  • • Support/resistance levels
  • • All-time high breakouts

Volume Conditions

  • • Volume spike detection
  • • Above/below average volume
  • • Volume trend (increasing)
  • • Sustained high volume
  • • Volume ratio comparisons

Technical Indicators

  • • RSI (oversold/overbought)
  • • MACD (crossovers, divergence)
  • • Moving averages (SMA, EMA)
  • • Bollinger Bands (squeeze, touch)
  • • Custom indicator combinations

Example Strategies

Momentum Entry Strategy

Conditions:
  • • Price up 20%+ in last 1 hour
  • • Volume 3x above 24h average
  • • RSI between 40-70 (not overbought)
Rationale:

Catches strong upward momentum with confirmation from volume, while avoiding overbought conditions that could reverse quickly.

Dip Buying Entry Strategy

Conditions:
  • • Price down 15%+ from 1h high
  • • RSI below 35 (oversold)
  • • Volume still elevated (2x average)
Rationale:

Buys tokens that have dipped after strong moves, betting on bounce-back when oversold with sustained interest (volume).

Trailing Stop Exit Strategy

Conditions:
  • • Position ROI has reached 2x
  • • Price drops 20% from peak
  • • OR time held exceeds 4 hours
Rationale:

Locks in profits after 2x gains by exiting when price pulls back significantly, or exits automatically after time limit.
